My name is Rachel, and I’m here to support neurodivergent mothers navigating life’s challenges with a holistic, body-centred approach. As a mother, social worker, and therapist, I understand how important it is to address not just thoughts and emotions, but the entire person – body, mind, and nervous system. My approach is rooted in compassion, understanding, and a deep respect for your lived experience. Whether you’re seeking guidance for yourself or as a parent navigating the world of neurodivergence, I’m here to help you find balance, growth, and peace.
I believe that true healing starts when we integrate the mind, body, and nervous system. So often, we get caught in cycles of thinking that our thoughts or emotions are the problem, but they’re actually the product of a body that’s out of balance. Through my approach, we focus on calming the nervous system, understanding your body’s responses, and then shifting the way you approach your thoughts and feelings. This method helps you experience lasting change, reduced stress, and improved emotional regulation.
As a mother with lived experience of neurodivergence, I understand firsthand the complexities and beauty of living life and raising children who see and experience the world differently. This lived experience allows me to offer unique insights, especially for mothers in similar situations. I’m here to help you embrace neurodivergence and build a sustainable, fulfilling life for yourself and your family.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work and have extensive experience in both the counselling and education fields. Over the years, I’ve worked as a wellbeing coordinator, in counselling roles, and as an educator. I have also completed further studies in post-partum support and mental health. All of this has allowed me to build a holistic, empathetic practice that recognises both the mind and body’s role in healing and growth.
As someone who has been through the journey of motherhood and neurodivergence, I have firsthand experience in navigating these challenges, which enhances my ability to connect with clients and provide them with meaningful support.
Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or guidance as a parent, I’m here to help you navigate life’s complexities with a holistic and compassionate approach. My work is focused on understanding your unique experiences, offering tailored strategies, and creating lasting change.
As a neurodivergent mother with lived experience, the support I provide is not just about therapy – it's about understanding, compassion, and guidance. I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate a world not designed for their Neurotype.
I’m passionate about helping other mothers who share with them the tools they need to manage their stress, regulate their nervous systems, and create an environment where both they and their children can thrive. I truly believe that as a mother, you deserve support that speaks to your unique experience and that helps you build a life you love.
